Meeting all the like-minded people you start to get settled in and make new friends and start to feel like it's a new home. The training is awesome and with every new day I would learn a new tip to improve my riding but I.d never thought I would improve to the extent that I have. Heli-Boarding is an amazing experience and I got to ride "shot-gun" in the helicopter because I was the smallest, which was a cheeky bonus. Free-style training starts off with the basics, which is what I needed, but gives you the skills you need to be confident and progress real quick. I had loads of fun up at Snow Park jibbing around to the music that's playing out, practicing the new tricks I had learnt in the morning. Even went in the half-pipe! In Summary, New Zealand Snow Sports Academy is a great way of getting your qualification, whilst having the time of your life, and making some mates along the way. What more do you want!? Oh and that's not to mention the nightlife..oh boy!

To be honest a lot of us needed to be taught how to ski before we could be taught how to teach or even improve our own skiing. As for free style I think that Logan (head Park and Pipe coach) is one of the nicest blokes I have ever met full stop. He was so incredibly supportive when we were piking out all over the place (!) and always kept his sense of humour, what a top man. I am determined to make the box slide part of my repertoire.

I think Logan was a brilliant choice for free style training. Always explained things well and was really enthusiastic about our progress, which was ideal for both, the slightly timid and confident free style skiers. With a group of five there was a lot of individual feedback and we all made progressions from where we started.

This is the one. Other people actually paid extra to join us from other companies for the extra activities we did. They'd all already paid more to begin with anyway!!
Because Adam actually is an instructor as well he understands your needs better than just your average rep/company owner.
The Heli Trip is one of my best days ever! Great people, great snow, great guides, helicopter was ok to!
Don't be thinking that you come along, snowboard a bit, and get a certificate! You get your monies worth, have no doubt! You are re-built into a snowboarding machine! It's still fun though, things become a lot easier to accomplish, moguls, freestyle, and general your riding, whatever!
