New Zealand has a stunning landscape that is extremely varied. Within a days drive it is possible go from vast mountains to long rugged coastlines, deep fjords to large rain forests and active volcanoes to sandy beaches. The people of New Zealand always make you feel welcome with their friendly, relaxed attitude.

Wanaka is situated on the shores of Lake Wanaka deep in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Surrounded by mountains, Wanaka is a popular winter destination for New Zealanders and internationals alike. With three major resorts, Wanaka offers the largest area of skiable terrain in Australasia and has something for everyone from wide groomed trails to steep powder bowls and chutes to some of the best maintained terrain parks in the world.

If you want to get away from the resorts then the Southern Alps is home to world class heli-skiing and heli-boarding. Our climate of crisp, sunny winter days and frosty nights provide us with fantastic dry snow and none more so than the resorts surrounding Wanaka.

Wanaka has everything you need off the mountain too offering a variety of bars, restaurants and cafés. The adventure needn’t stop either with activities like skydiving, mountain biking or golf and wine tours just at your doorstep.
